The mandate of the executive officers is 2 years and re-election is allowed.

All executive officers have signed a consent term and are personally liable to act in accordance with the Adhesion to the BM&FBovespa’s Novo Mercado Agreement, the Rules of the markets’ Chamber of Arbitration and with the Rules of BM&FBovespa’s Novo Mercado of corporate governance.

São Carlos’ management compensation is aligned with shareholders‘ interests, through a combination of variable compensation by achieving a set of performance goals, and a Stock Options Plan (Portuguese only).

Felipe Góes began working at the Company in 2011 and has been the CEO of São Carlos since 2012. Prior to joining São Carlos, he was a partner at McKinsey, working in the infrastructure and financial sectors in Brazil, Europe and the United States. Mr. Góes holds a degree in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Fernanda Fontes has been the Director of the Office segment since 2018. She joined São Carlos in 2011, leading the M&A team and was promoted to Investment Officer in 2015. Prior to joining São Carlos, she was an Executive Officer at General Electric, dedicated to business development in several infrastructure sectors in Brazil and the United States. Ms. Fontes holds a degree in Engineering from UFRJ, a post-graduate diploma from the University of Tulsa and a Six Sigma Black Belt certificate from GE.

Fabio Itikawa began working at the Company as a Finance Manager in 2008 and has been the Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer at São Carlos since 2012. Prior to joining São Carlos, he was an M&A Manager at Banco Itaú and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Itikawa holds a degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and an MBA from the Columbia Business School.

João Sammarone has been the Managing Director of Best Center since 2015. He joined the company as the Commercial Superintendent in 2014. Before that, he was founding partner of Victoria Properties, a company that develops convenience centers, and expansion manager at Walmart Brasil. Mr. Sammarone holds a degree in Law, a post-graduate degree in Real Estate Business from Armando Álvares Penteado College (FAAP), a Certificate in Business Administration (CBA) from INSPER and has concluded the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard.
